Hes not 29 he wishes LOL. His kid did not die in a car accident but he pulled someone else out of a wreck where his children were playing nearby, reread his post.

Oh, and I feel bad for you if you think someone would use the death of a child just for attention.

Never heard of a pathological liar before?

Ive known several people who have used the death of a family member, one being a kid that was in my band, he used the death of his uncle as an excuse to yell at my drummer for playing while he was on the phone saying that his uncle died that night when his mom said that his uncle died like..a month ago at from that time....and then theres this "friend" of mine who is seriously a pathological liar and still brings up deaths in his family as excuses for things.

My point is though that if a family member or friend died in whatever circumstance, dont use them as an example. In my opinion its disrespectful.

Im gonna break my own rules here though, my dad died when I was 7 years old and I dont use that as an excuse for when I **** up, and I certainly dont use it as an attention getter, or to start a pity party.

And also, if I die in a car related accident, atleast I died doing something that I think is fun.

Although if I had to die from a freakish happening.....Id rather fall to my death, preferably off of something higher than 500 feet though, Id want to atleast half *** enjoy it.

Most of the people on this forum are not even old (except for lance that is.. lol ) On a serious note though it looks like just about everyone doesn't agree with what you consider OK so whats the point of continuing to talk ****..

and also don't think just because your a "good driver" doesn't mean something can't happen to you. The kid that drove us home from college last spring break lost control of the car and we flew into a ditch hitting 9 trees. Lucky we missed all the very large trees or there would be no question about us surviving that like we did... Its sad but it looks like you need to have a personal experience before you get it.

But seriously , Im doing what I like, and Im gonna keep doing it, and If I think what Im doing is life threatening, 3 times out of 10, Ill ease up.

And for the record, I dont race in neighborhoods or populated areas.

I want attention? How about you? As far as me bringing up a personal tragety to make a point, I guess that was my fault. But we are all "victims" of our past. The fact that I have lost a kid does change things and my persective on life. It makes me look at things differently and when I see people taking life for granted, I think it is sad.

And, if I want to use my kids story to make a impact, that is my right. I have earned it. I have used my daughter's story to raise over $350k to help other kids and their families. Often times out of tragety, something good happens.

This site has been around here for about 4 years. In that time I have seen some of our members get married and have kids.....and their view on life has changed as a result. We have had a lot of debate, some energetic and some not.

And ZigZag is right. when yer 21 yer gonna look at how you were at 18 and think you were a moron. And again when yer 25 looking back to 21, and 30 looking back to 25.

the finny thing about this is you WILL agree with me 100% once you get another decade tucked under yer belt. Im not saying yer gonna say "Wow, ol jackie boy was right" that would be ludacris. But you will have a better appreciation for what we are talking about as you get older.

As much as older guys (and im only 30 and i feel 25) want to be able to shake some common sence into younger people it is damn near impossible. Young people are not wired that way to just simply accpt what some more experienced person says, they need to learn it from themselves.

my only advice to you is dont think you are invincible or you will find out how vulnerable you can be.
And be DAMN CAREFUL out there so when yer 30 you can look back and laugh at your overconfidance.

im not gonna sit here and say yer a retard for street racing, you should NOT be doing it, neither should i when the occasional time comes that i gun for it, and it sounds like you got enough common sence not to race through a busy street and try to keep it as safe as possible, but it is not what you know that will **** you up, it is what you dont know. And the bitch of that? is you dont know that you dont know it untill you know it, and then you know more and think more.

gotta find out for yerself. just try not to kill anyone else while yer at it.
Hm. I doubt very much that I will agree with you 100% on all this, But I do agree with you on some things already, but those are things I already knew, and if you guys say that its impossible to "shake some sense into us young people", and Ive read that from more than one person on here, then why do you all keep trying?

None of you will tell me something that I dont already know, and you wont change my opinions on this whole subject.

One other thing though....I can actually say that this was all pretty dumb, but I guess I just cant let things go very easy, and thats why Ive replied to so many posts, especially the ones against me, but now that Ive wasted a whole day on this subject, its quittin' time.

Now as for you, you're full of a,azing stories....Ill bet you used to street race until one day you ran into a gas station and blew up 1 million dollars worth of property, yet somehow survived, and spent 10 years in prison and it changed your whole perspective on street racing.

.........and uh.......

How do you EARN THE RIGHT to use a dead loved on as an example for anything?
