headers?? sound

Default headers?? sound

will putting bbk or mac shorty headers on a v6 increase sound noticeably, i have a flowmaster dual on it??

In my opinion it's going to sound like ***...if your looking for that loud throaty rumble you need to get a v8.

Oh Ya and no I don't think it will make a sound increase. You wont even see a noticeable gain from the shorty's...overall waste of money IMO.

Yes they do make headers both shorty and long tube, and it will slightly make it louder, and with shortys there is little power there without F/I.

On a 99+ you might notice a slight difference. On a 94-98 though, you're basically buying a shinier version of something you already have, as stock headers on the singleports are pretty close in design to aftermarket ones with the large collector and whatnot. I suggest you take a look at the link below before sinking a whole lot of time and money into new headers...

ok side question on mac they have air injection on their headers whats that for?

I think modding a V-6 exhaust is a misstake if you go to far. I would leave it at a cat-back.

Fitting that goes from the header to the egr aka the egr tube connects to that. so if you want to keep your egr then you need it. If not then you don't get that.
