Default header question

ok thinking of choose between BBK CHROME or CERAMIC SHORTY HEADER KIT for 99-04 FORD MUSTANG 3.8L V6 orJ BA CAT4WARD C.A.R.B. Legal Shorty Header. Can you give me some infor/experience wich either or tell me a better. What gives better sound a performance.

Chrome is just for looks. Just get ya a set of MAC longtubes, they will give you a small HP/trq increase and a better tone. The shorties dont do much at all. I had stainless shorties on my '02 and it didnt give but about a 2hp increase but sounded a little better. If you wanna stick to doing shorties get the ceramic coated, they will flow little bit better.

contact mustang tuning they might be able to get v6 long tubes as well now that they carry MAC products.
