Another header question

I am looking into the MAC Longtubes for my 01 v6, and I currently have flowmaster mufflers (new exhaust from the cats back). I was wanting some type of high-flow cats if I get the headers, but I have no idea on what type of cats to get. I don't really want a crossover since i don't need one with my sixer. Any suggestions on the cats and where to get them from? Also, could someone give me an estimate on the total bill...saying i could prob get them installed for $500

have to ask... why longtubes? Be smog illegal?

I'd say screw the headers... they're not going to get you much unless you get supercharged. As for cats, bassani high flow cats are an easy proposition for most applications. You'll have to watch the sizing or you may have problems keeping them lit.

6ers aren't my specialty but, that's what I know.
