Hello all, I have a question that may or may not be answered easily..
I recently, yesterday, had a SPEC stage 3 clutch installed in my 98 mustang (3.8L) I was curious to those of you who have the stage 3, is it very easy to push the pedal down to the floor? When I ordered this clutch, I expected a nice firm pedal with a little bit of weight.. Is this correct? Has everyone experienced the same thing, or is it an installation error?? :foot: Thanks, Evan W. |

almost all the after market clutches I know of are MUCH harder to press down..., unless your having WAY to much trouble i'd say it' normal

My problem is that it is WAY to soft. It almost feels like there's nothing there, like pushing paper.. :wallbash: Is there any way to actually adjust the clutch since Ford put the stupid 'auto adjusting quadrent gear' assembly in the Mustangs? Could the quadrent gear have anything to do with the stiffness of the clutch itself? Im so lost on this one..... :helpsmili

did you try to just adjust the clutch using the ford adjuster way?
