Default clutches..

I have a 2000 Mustang GT and i need a new clutch. I have a racing clutch in it now but dont know what kind i bought it that way..... I was wondering if anyone knew what the best street/weekend strip clutch would be for it..Thanks

how much hp do you have? most people go w/ a spec stage 2 or 3 clutch

nothing really hp wise i have the cluthc, ford racing short shifter that im swapping out for a steeda tri ax, i have flowmaster 40 series and just a couple cosmetic upgrades

do you want a stiff clutch or a soft clutch?

soft: King Cobra, Spec stage II or II. i dont care for the spec clutches, but ive heard more bad things about them then good, some people really like them though.

stiff: RAM HD, FMS HD. Both rather stiff with good hp ratings. there are far more exotic clutches to go with, these are the cheaper more mainstream clutches used.

look at the Centerforce Dual Friction clucth!! they are great for a DD/Strip car...
I have one..and I can say that i will never by ANY other brand clutch otherthan Centerforce
