LOL why does every thread in this section turn to a you should have bought a GT? And then you get V6 guys trying to justify it ...So much to learn. V6power.net that's all you have to do when a V8 guy comes on here talking trash. Ask for HIS timeslip, not dyno numbers, but a time slip and then go to v6power and compare. Anyone can have a dyno queen and talk about racing and beating this and that.

I was thinking about having it around 600hp

it should certainly be possible, with the right setup. The question is if you want to run 600hp through a stock 2v bottom end?

Badass man!

How much did the kit cost you in parts? Seems like you could come out really cheap since those turbos arent all that expensive themselves. Who did the headers and the exhaust?

As for beating 03/04 cobras with it........maybe and maybe not. I know that theyre lighter than a GT but cobras are no walk in the park.

'

I did pretty good as far as the parts go. I bought the whole kit used from a guy that lives a few hours away.

As for cobras, i dont think ill have any problem with the stock terminators, i should be throwing down more hp, and i should be lighter.

As a progress report i have the drivers side header and turbo on, i have the downpipe and the whole exhaust on, and the passenger side header is almost on. i still have a lot to do . ..

bought a battery relocation kit yesterday for it.

He didn't say all, but calling him a moron might be a start...like I said, I for one like Mustangs...Period. Does that mean I'm never a *****, no. But it makes no ****ing sense whatsoever to talk **** just because someone drives a car with two less cylinders than yours.

Just my $.02...

clearly... whats your point man? that if you stick a TT on a V8 it'll be faster... lemi put it this way... the tech today has gotten so advanced that with any amount of money ANYONE yes ANYONE can have huge hp,

my friend saw a vid of a 1000 hp i4 engine N/A.... I **** you not... the abilities of cars to gains extreme amounts of hp is phenominal, sure there is technically no replacement for displacement, however, a rebuilt V6 with stroker kit and all the goodies and a TT is guna beat a lightly modded V8 engine with a TT kit... it's all in the money, and remember theres about a 5-7 grand price gap between the 6's and 8's so when you balance it all out... who's got the better hand...

PS, GT + TT = WAYYY MORE then 400 hp... more like 800...

Maybe, but what would you choose slow or 3 times as fast as it was?

ps- keep it nice ladys or it will have ot be locked up, try not to ruin it for others.

i wouldnt think a GT + TT would make 800 . . or even 600 without a build shortblock and heads+cams etc.

a bone stock GT with a TT kit i wouldnt expect to make more then 450-500 with a safe tune & boost level

then again i could be wrong, im just a dumb v6 owner

Usually the saying is 400hp, but i have heard some people over in MPH say 450 is ok if its tuned by Tim...But 450 is the max ive seen SAFELY on stock block...

I was just figurin, one of the guyz in town has an old 95 GT with a Novi on it... he's gettin 550 rwhp, without a built engine, thats stock block, but new intake and cams i think, and then a built differential... so 600 seems reasonable...

do you mean stock BLOCK or stock SHORTBLOCK, because the on the v6 you usually dont want to go past 450whp either. however the stock block is good to a lot more.
