see you just keep assuming , I never said I don't like mustangs..infact I like em quite a bit...I don't consider v6 stangs, true mustangs...I see them more as what Ford sells to moms and highschool girls to make money, so they can build the real cars

lol you call that a real car...we own a real car(gt. 350). Your gt engine is just the basis of the real performance cars ford makes such as cobras. It will never ever be worth 1/6 the real muscle car we own. So talk **** all you want your gt is nothing special either:loser:
Fyi sixers have been around in stangs since the beginning. I'd rather have my gas mileage.

Now that useless post are done!!!! Lets get back to the subject at hand and no more useless v6 bashing.

Teal beast how fast was your car with the vortech kit you had? what was your 1/4 mile time and what mods other then that did you have.

with the vortech kit and my single port engine with 8psi un-intercooled from a vortech it made 180whp 245wtq, and when i had the vortech and NOTHING else, on stock tires i pulled a 14.7@95 with a 2.2' 60'

p.s. as a lesson for those who dont know

94-98 v6 mustangs = single port aka 145hp 215tq (crank)
99-04 v6 mustangs = split port aka 190-193hp 225tq (crank)

i lifted those heads after i put gears and tlok in. . then i put in a 2000 engine (the one i have now)

I still have YET to bash v6's, all I've said is I don't see the point of spending money on them, you apparently can't read...now I might bash your riced out POS, but thats a different story

So with my 3.73 gears and shift kit i should be able to run near a low 14. I'm pretty sure next winter ill be running a anderson motorsport( mr.freeze) and im gonna run lt's with a catted h.

yea i had LT's and O/R H that iw as going to put in but i didnt get it in untill the new engine

DAMN...

Sixers can still be fast...i hate it when people say V6 mustangs are nothing and not fast...just cause we dont own a V8 doesnt mean we cant spend money on it to go fast or look good

a v6 has 2 less cyl then a GT
a GT has 2 less valves per cyl then a cobra

a v6 is 70crank hp less then a GT,
a GT has 70 less crank HP then a cobra (non blown)

so the v6 is the low man on the totem pole . . . big whoop

but we arnt on this forum because we like to keep our cars stock, so ya never know what you will find at any level, why not just be supportive.

There will allways be someone that is faster. It might even be that guy you were making fun of a little while back. . . .

we all <3 horsepower, why cant we all get along?

good luck with all that wiring, hopefully you get it done soon. U gettin it dyno tuned or just goin with a hand held tuner for the time being?

It just so happens i will be there this whole weekend. So i guess i could be nice and help out. I hope you got all the wiring stuff i.e. wires crimpers cutters etc... I can give you a hand sometime on saturday and sunday i am free all day i think. My sister gets married saturday in palm bay on the beach so i will for sure be over there.

He is very good, he has tuned ton's and ton's of cars trucks etc.. he also tuned my freinds single turbo f150. i think he has odne like 6 peoples cars i know.

he has done mine . . . TWICE

yea he rules, he is arguably the best v6 tuner you can get and a damn good
v8 one as well.

oh and thats awsome that your sister is getting married.

yea i have a lot of wiring stuff, connecters stripers etc etc.

damn i wish you could pickup the chip from justin while your up there, but that wouldnt work out.

It has been a while since you've made v6power with me Dustin . .

This setup is nuts, I wanna know specs, speeds, times, and such. You've probably posted this already, but if you could fill me in on your tranny, prop, axel/gears, wheels/tires and such. Don't forget to hold on to your timeslip, you may have a top spot on 3.8mustang.com. That would definately be some bragging rights, especially without nitrous.

I gotta race line up with a buddy w/ an ol (92ish) turbo RX7... that'll be cool... he thinks i'll win... i think he'll past me with that turbo...

aren';t rx7's like 300 hp or something?... with that rotary turbo or something or am I mistaken with the older versions...

Teal, have you ever upgraded your heads? I know I posted www.supersixmotorsports.com on my thread, but it wasn't working the day I posted it, and you never commented. I'm curious if your still using the stock intake as well
