Does anyone reccommed any specific paint for painting the hoses in the engine bay?

i think your gonna have to buy some hoses in the color you want, aint cheap. paint and rubber equals cracks.

I think the only thing that MIGHT work is something like krylon fusion or something like that.

if you want it to look good, why not convert to all braided stainless line and AN fittings? it'll cost 4x as much but lasts forever and looks uber pimpin.

you'll not be able to bolt on such a thing and there's no single part you need. Rather there are several for each hose as it's a very custom gig. I'd look for -16 to -20 size hose and all the fittings you can lay your hands on. I get all my hoses and fittings from Summit but I also know how to assemble them. look up AN fittings on summit and then ask me before you make any purchases until you're up to speed. I can provide some basic instructions on assembling the fittings. It's not hard but definitely a little more than cake.

My 5.4 is getting all the hoses I can get away with replaced with AN stuff. It's as much for looks as it is for durability. I plan on NEVER having to worry if I'll blow a radiator hose at 150mph in the middle of the Nevada desert.

So i was just checking summit looking at the stuff. hell, ive done enough cable work, plumbing, electrical, etc, that im sure i could put them together and probably really enjoy doing it, however, damn. that shit looks like it will get pricey fast.

lol

it sure does... I have probably 500 bucks in fittings and a grand in assorted hoses and tools sitting in the garage and more arriving all the time. Upside is you only do it 1 time.
