Default Eliminating a lean spike....

OK I have heard that the plate kits produce a lean spike alot. I dont thin k mines been having a bad one since I dont have a purfe kit and theirs just a little air spraying before the nitrous comes. But with a purge kit I will surely have a lean spike. I have about a 6 inch hard line coming from the fuel solenoid to the nitrous plate. The same for the nitrous side... I am thinking about adding a 1ft braided line inbetween the nitrous solenoid and the hard line. Or I could just buy a 2ft braided line to go from the nitrous solenoid to the plate. This will give the 45psi of fuel just a 6 inch distance to travel and the 1000psi Of nitrous a 2 ft line. Would that even effect the spike or would I have to have like a 5ft line instead?

Would it stop some of the lean spike????
