Did you do the install yourself? They didn't do a very clean install like the shop that did mine. They could of hidden the wires atleast..I have 2 12" rockford fosgate p3's in my trunk..they had to build the box in the trunk and fire the subs upword to get the right measurements the subs require..all in all I am happy..I can rattle the **** out of my car with the bass on -4 and volume at 14..but I like to be able to hear my music too =). thats why they make a bass control ****. Bigger is always better.

im sure you already know that.
Get a 1000 watt sony explode and some sone xplode 12 inch subs and be prepared to hear pure crap.
I wouldnt be suprised if anything after the first 30 watts of a sony explode that the other 970 watts are clipping like mad.
I'll take a pair of 8's or 10's over 12's anyday. They have a faster transient responce which gives tighter cleaner bass.
pair of 10's is ideal, then spend some good bucks and get some real quality amps that can push 500w without clipping, then yer into some nice clean bass
Note: im not as used into car audio as i used to be. Kinf of fell out of that racket after my 3rd system got stolen. thats what i get for having killer systems in Saturns and blasting them in the nighborhood.
anyways... im sure you know this cause i thought u were into car audio
I have a pair of 200rms(600peak) velodyne subwoofers in my house that will stomp the ever living **** out of a Carver "True-Sub" which i believe pushes 2,700 watts. And REL has a 100w sealed subwoofer with a single 10 that will put out as much spl if not more than my dual subs.
Its not the quanity of watts rather than the quality.
1000 watts doesent mean squat if it clips as soon as it passes 100w.

looks good. The reason the box is so big for a 8, is because the W7 is a huge *** speaker that needs a big box.
ANyone ever watch unique whips? They put 2 W7 13's in a H2 and it took up damn near the entire rear of the hummer.
