I have owned Corvetts and Camaros. I now have an 06 Mustang GT. So far I am very pleased! It is my first Ford product.
The questions are, What is a Modular motor? What does PI mean? Thanks, Roy |

Modular "mod" motor is basically just a motor where some parts are swappable and addaptive between the different line up of engines, IE: v8 to v10, or v10 to v8.
If you are looking for more info check this out: http://www.answers.com/topic/ford-modular-engine PI is Performance Improvement. the 99+ GTs had a few different parts on them which gave better peformance. The heads, intake, and a few other things were switched from the 99+ from the previous 4.6l engines. |
