You might have some problem from take off with 4.10's and a 100 shot, but its all on how you drive your car. I personally have 3.73's on my mustang and run a 75 shot with no problems. I don't know if the kit you are trying to buy comes with a window switch or not, but most do. I have my nitrous set up on a button, so when i spray from 1st and blow the tires off, i just let of the button and spray until second...

with 4.10s, you probably wont be able to spray sucessfully untill 3rd gear. You might be able to squeeze it in 2nd but it will be tough.

run DR's and spray in 2nd, if you run out of gear in 3rd use a taller tire or back down to a 3.90

You will be fine! Having 4.10's with a Venom-1000 is not ideal, but you will be fine. IMO, not worth the expense of changing back. Keep in mind, 95 - 99% of the time you will be driving n/a.

I run 4.10's with the Venom-1000 on a 5 speed. Spraying in 2nd is a real hoot! You will hook-up.

One of the neat features about the Venom-1000, is that there is a slight delay after going to WOT and the nitrous. This slight delay makes all the difference in the world when it comes to gettng traction.

Now, here is another neat feature! As you know, the Venom-1000 will not spray until you are at WOT and the a/f is good, right? Well, you can also add a push button. The Venom computer is already pre-wired to accept a push-button activation switch.

When launching, you smash the pedal. As car shifts to second, you push the button and the nitrous will now spray as long as you are at WOT and have a good a/f. This way, you can delay the spray if you wish.

The venom systems do not have a window switch because you don't need one with this setup.

with the auto and 4.10s with stock size tires you may run out of gear at the big end of the track...........ive had friends run into that problem spraying and using 4.10s with stock height tires...........

No you wont get traction. I wouldnt even try to spray it on the street. You will need slicks to hook up at the strip. You definately need a window switch. Dont trust the Venom cutting it off when it goes lean.

I have stock gear and I dont get traction at all in 1st. Maybe if you had some good DR's like the M/T ET streets or something. The Nitto DR's dont hook up under spray with stock suspension.

Quick question on this.. I just got the venom kit today and about to install it. I also plan on hooking up a window switch, do you know how this would be wired into the kit? Would the window switch fall between the venom module & the solenoid?

Any help would be great, thanks!

the switch would go between noids and the module as the MSD will be supplying the gorund for the noids. if you read the MSD directions you will understand alot more of what i am saying.

Ok let me ask this then.. My kit is armed, and I floor the gas, but i'm only at 1500 RPM, wouldn't the nitrous start spraying right then? Or is that not what WOT really is?

thats what the window swtich is for. you set the rpms you want it to spray at.

and yes 1500 at wot with the kit on is bad, you'll make like 600ft lbs on a 100shot though.

No way!! I have that exact set up! I launch at 3500-4k and drop the clutch, wait till it bites then floor it!! The juice doesnt kick in till WOT iam gettin 1.89- 1.95 60fts on bald BFG DRs. I would try to launch harder but our track is kind of crappy
