I was himmin' and hawin' on picking up a blower while I had the time... the answer is, NO.

I just picked up a NOS NOSzle kit for 400 bones with all the toys. I'm going to mix parts from my other kit and my HPS intake to make a 75 shot shooting directly into the lower plenum of my intake, and then I'll use the NOSzle kit to do a 100 or 125 shot at the injector as a second stage for drag days and such.

So, the parts bucket so far is:
00 5.4L block
FRPP forged crank
2v stage 3 ported heads wtih all the standard goodies... stainless valves, 600 lift springs, titanium this and that's, etc.
Probe +.020 forged slugs
4340 H-Beam forged rods
Total seal rings
"hard" rod and main bearings
ARP head studs
ARP main studs
stage 2 cams
HPS intake
Apex Motorsports kevlar DF clutch
03 cobra flywheel
Reichard Racing intake adapter plates
NOSzle wet nitrous system (2nd stage)
custom dry nitrous system (1st stage)

how much have you paid for everything listed not including the nitrous?

odds and ends: about 350. All tolled: 3908. So I've got about 4K in my longblock plus another grand for assembly. The closest thing that matches in a retail longblock is in the 7-10K range so I'm pretty happy. Saved a little and stuck to a budget.
