Default Guys w/ SLP Catted X Pipes...

Just ordered one. What did you notice about it after you put it on? (sound change, SOTP)

I've already got the Loudmouth I CatBack. I know I'm going to love it I'm just curious what's under the tree before Christmas Morning, ya know what I'm saying?!

I have the same setup. All I can say is, stand by. It will get a lot louder and a bit more of a higher pitch. Not as loud as w/o the cats. Let me know what you think.

much louder, much raspier, much louder, much more high pitched, much louder. lol. but not as loud as an o/r pipe. im getting tired of my LM1's so i got magnapack mufflers in the mail ($75 shipped lol). then going to switch to an o/r h.

I put one on my 01 and gave what was a tame sounding rumble a nice throaty growl. After install, hit it on the hwy and it got with it quicker than before so it was a worthwhile mod.

my setup when i bought mine was stock headers and h with flowmaster mufflers, i first put on a bbk o/r h and it was loud as hell, i just put on my lm 2 catback and i think it got quieter but not too much, so it varies i hope u enjoy it cuz my neighbors sure enjoy hearing me everyday lol!!

Louder is fine. I love that scalded ape sound.

How about difference in acceleration?

The plan is eventually to get SLP LongTubes and then grab some powerflo mufflers if the LM1s get too loud for the street.

I went from MAC O/R h-pipe to a catted X-pipe and def lost lowend torque, I do like the catted x better, no smell and not as load but loader then the stock pipe for sure.

The X is on!!!! You can definitely tell the difference. I think it went from muscle car rumble to muscle car rumble with a hint of SuperBike scream...

Ok...

Apparently I have had no clue how friggin loud this thing is... I live in BFE so there's not a whole lot of buildings around for the sound to come back to me on... But I was out cruisin' around "town" on my lunch break and saw a fellow stanger. I punched it to catch them, and let off really quick (4k rpms?) because this thing could wake the dead!

I love it!!!

Hey... you guys notice a lil' fuel smell at start up when you put on your X? I've noticed it a few times but it immediately goes away. Kinda like a gas stove, how the propane smell kinda lingers right after the pilot kicks on...

nah youd be suprised how quiet Loudmouth 2's are compared to Loudmouths, take it from me(ive run all SLP mufflers with an O/R X) and the PowerFLos are phuckin quiet...i cant imagine how quiet they'll sound with a catted X.
