Default pi swap ?

Would the 5.4L heads and intake bolt onto my 97 GT ?

Heads will intake won't. Get PI heads, cams and intake from a 4.6 99-04 Mustang.

The heads off a 5.4 will be fine, they're all the same. I have 2002 F-150 heads on my car. If you can get a deal on them then pick them up. You wont be able to use the intake, I would suggest ebay for a mustang intake. There are great deals to be had.
