I recently installed a procharger on my car. I am running 8lbs of boost and was told that I need a maf extender, because my stock maf is not big enough. This part is $185 would it just be better for me to get a cobra maf or is that more expensive?

Youll need a dyno-tune regardless so go buy a new MAF sensor.

Yeah I know I need to have it tuned on the dyno, but I was just wondering if I should just buy the maf extender he was talking about or something like 90mm MAf.

Personally, id purchase a MAF instead of the extender. youll probably peg your current one anyways.

What's the difference in the two? a guy has a cobra MAF for $75, is why im asking

Get the lightening maf because it will be alot eaiser for your tuner to tune...
You don't need a extender, just remove the maf wires from the harness inside the plastic loom to give you a foot to reach the maf...

I talked to Randy today and he told me that the lightening and the cobra would work so I got a cobra MAF off of a guy for $75. He said it is a Cobra MAF Mafia.
