I have a bassani off-road x-pipe with flowmaster 40 series and I am not happy with the sound above approx. 2300 rpm's. Sounds like a tin can, and has kind of a raspy sound to it. Is this because there are no cats? Besides the tin can sound I am very pleased with the note. Help please!

yes...the catless pipes will sound raspy...if u wanted no cats....the h pipe would have been the way to go...or even the SLP midpipes cause u cna interchange between cats and no cats...
