I Got A Speeding Ticket!

I think you can also pay to have your speedo recalibrated and use that as a plea bargain. Not sure how exactly that works, but it's worth investigating if points on your insurance are gonna rise.. At least, talk to a lawyer, he can give you details and work out payments with you to get thrown out.. No points, no fine.. GL Girl, I really hope it works in your favor. 45 in a 35.... Geeez who doesn't do that
See, if you had just listened to me to begin with you wouldn't even have to worry about selling them! Let that be a lesson to you.

I also got a speeding ticket by F*CKING FLORIDA PATROL on I-4 west toward tampa. I'm in Florida right now..I was in my dad's rx8 and he gave me 85 in a 70. also 240 dollars. according to the back of the ticket it if he would've given me 84 in a 70 it wouldve been 180 dollars or something. merry christmas *******!

One of my first speeding tickets was a 66mph in a 45mph zone. It was actually faster than that but he got the guy in back of me and stopped us both.
Anyways, it was dropped to 1011A or whatever the code is for a parking on pavement. $150.
It's up to the cop to drop the ticket or not, maybe you can reason with him, he's a human being too and there's a good chance he has a family. Don't come off as a sob story but be firm and explain your situation.
If all else fails, ask for an extension. Yeah you'll have to be thinking about it and what not, but you did break the law and all that other good stuff, blah blah blah.
