not sure what the draw is to the total rasp of slp...especially the LM1's. but... if its exhaust or rims...I'd be doing exhaust.

if you like raspy, super loud, annoying to live with loud, cop attention grabbing loud, neighbor annoying loud, then the LM1's are for you.

I use Hooker Aerochambers. mellow down low...nice old school rumble, zero rasp and they still scream at high revs. perfection.

i wouldnt even put LM1s into the mix...they should be banned.

i have borla stingers and love the **** out of them. i however want to change midpipes from an o/r h to catted x to get a different sound out of them.

but for the price of wheels and tires you can do a nice midpipe and catback.

depending on what you want midpipes range from 180-500 and catbacks from cheap-700

personally i splurged on borlas because of the good sound, amazing fit and quality. but i did spend 700 bones. and i bought a cheap mac o/r h just because i wanted to get rid of the cats...i shoulda saved for a better midpipe like a bassani catted x.

I'd go with the exhaust. And I love the LM series, especially 1's. They might sound raspy at lower rpm's, but they sound downright PISSED at higher rpm's.

As for the rims/tires or exhaust. I would have to say if you need tires bad go with the rims/tires first but if the tires can last for awhile go with exhaust. I agree with everyone else though. Not a big fan of SLP
