Default how hot in your area.

I'm here at work freakin dying. I think it's suppose to be around 100 again today and right now at 10:34am it's 86 degrees in my office. Damn air conditioner doesn't work and it makes for a miserable work day.

I hear that man! Luckily I have great air conditioning in my office. Hot is hot, but thank god we don't live somewhere that is humid or really dry....it would be much worse

bastard!haha. It's now 92 degrees inside my office. Instead of letting us leave early my manager let us take like a 2hour lunch. Stupid air conditioning guys are suppose to be on their way. Hopefully. This sucks

Hehe, we keep the thermostat on 60 and the temp stays around 63-65 degrees most of the time. We have 4 labs with lots of heat generating equipment and when the temp reaches around 74 degrees in any given room, our Xray equipment begins to shut down. You wouldn't think so, but you sweat alot, especially when your scrubbed in, wearing lead aprons, and sticking things into peoples hearts and brains and not just from the heat. I go from hot and sweating to freezing cold every 2-3 hours all day long.

It wouldn't be so bad if out thermostat actually worked. I share an office with one other guy, so between the two us, two computers, a fax machine, and a laser printer printing all the time, it generates a crap load of heat. I can imagine the x-ray equipment generating a lot of heat though.

It's not hot lately, just really ****ing humid with all of the rain.

Humidity is worse than heat IMO.

humidity does suck ***. San Diego does have the all around best weather. It was like 107* here yesterday and I was lucky enough to go home early. The manager finally decided that 93* in the office was a little much. Hopefully it will be the same today as it is already 85* in the office at 7:30am

Ya know, it's quotes like this that make me just laugh. Ok, it's 115 degrees and no humidity. Are you trying to say you can go outside and run a marathon or sumthin.

115 is damn hot,,humidity or not!!!!

Here on west coast of FL (tampa area) it's like 90 with 100% humidity. Sticky.

ha ha no it's still brutally hot here. It's kinda like getting hit in the face everytime you go outside. But i'd still take our 115 with little relative humidity over that 85-90 degree with 90% humidity you poor bastards in the south get. I remember visiting a friend in goodlettsville, (Sp?) TN last summer and it felt like I was taking a shower everytime i went outside

I am in Chicago right now, but heading back to the Twin Cities tomorrow. It is supposed to be 97!

When the temps get over 100, I personally find it unbearable. **** like 110 - 115 is out of control and I have never experienced that kind of heat except for when I was in Kuwait.

For thos of you in TX, Ca, etc... bitching about the heat, I should save this thread for when you make fun of me when it is 20 below this winter - lol

I have got to think that 100+ weather is just as nasty as 20 below. Either way, you are stuck inside and the heater always seems to keep up.

I used to live in San Diego and they do have the best weather. I will be in HI later this month for a week and I think SD weather is nearly as good as it is in HI.

no cold weather is much worse. We had to go visit some family in st. paul last year in february and it was -8 when we got there. way worse than 115 degree weather.

Here in the Memphis area the weather has been in the high 90s everyday, and we are considerd to be in a drought, cuz it aint rained here since Moby Dick was a minnow. The humidity sucks *** here too, ya walk outside and you instantly get clammy and its hard to breath in it just flat out sucks. But lucky for my, I work in a casino were they always keep the temp round 70 degrees inside LOL!
