Car almost stolen!!
well got home tonight after a long bike (motorcycles) ride with my bros and friend. I was pulling my bike in when the neigbor walks over and tells me and my bro that a tow truck stopped in front of our house and a guy was walking toward my car with something in his hand. My neigbor yelled at him and he started running away. He said it really looked like they were getting ready to tow something away. man i am glad my neigbor was out. my bros truck kind of blocked me in so it would have been difficult for them to get my car but it was possible. Def. pulling my car in the garage from now on, this kinda freaks me out might think about getting and alarm or lojak.
F people that steal.

physical assault with a weapon will justify someone trying to steal my car. Id be tempted to grab a shotgun but I dont want to goto jail. Id rather pay the hefty fine. Its sad that robbers and killers have rights over the guy protecting his property and family.

f'n theives. I have no tolerance for them. You're right MattJ. It is sad. If you took a lead pipe to some thief's head that was stealing your ride you'd go to jail and probably get sued for everything you have. The worst he'll get is a little jail time most likely and a slap on the wrist. As overcrowded as our prisons are today he'd probably be out in no time.

seems weird a tow truck which i am sure had a companys name on it was be used to try and steal cars. But yeah a garage is your best freind my car is in there every night. keeps it looking nice, and no one messes with it. Your lucky they didnt take it that woudl suck after all that money and work you did to it .

maybe cuz i'm a newyorker but i cant imagine NOT having an alarm on my car...i have a club..a shift lock...and that thing that goes from the floor to the break and prevents it from shifting in the car...then i have a cutoff switch and an alarm...AND all that while keeping it inside...i have a buddy with a supra who chains his axle to a tree....ahhh brooklyn life...2 guns under my pillow

Looks like you need to move down to texas...where we shoot first and ask questions later...

nothin' but the best! but yea, back to the grabbing the shotgun thing...idk bout ya'll but in FL if they're in your house they're fair game. and i believe cars are included. so wait till he gets in your car, then let'em have it!
and if all else fails, you were in fear for your life.
oh yea...if ya get chyer conceiled weapons permit, if it's a forcible felony, it's all on! (no matter where, cept theaters, gov. buildings, etc) but yeaa f'in with someone elses ride is a BIG no no
maybe if a few theives die, it'll send a message to the rest of'em..."hey if i try to steal this guys car, i might get shot. hmmm"

St.Louis is pretty bad too. In case you guys don't already know we were voted the city with the most crime in the US last year. LOL! My wife and I sat and watched a guy in south St. Louis steal an old rusty taxi cab right out of some guy's driveway. hehe.. Of course we called the cops but he was gone before they even got there. People will steal anything! My dad worked for 30 years at a place on Cass Ave. in north St Louis and the local "gangstaz" stole all the copper guttering off of the building. LOL I think some people work harder to steal than they would at an actual job.
That's funny about the guy talking about new york. My mustang's original owner was from New York. My car has a killer alarm system and when I got the car I found a lead filled billy club under the drivers seat. LOL.. I wish he'd have left a Glock under there too. hehe..

Man, i dont know how many times i have left my garage door open overnight with all my tools and my unlocked mustang in it. I could seriously leave my house unlocked all year long and never have a problem.
i love it out here. lol....

LOL! Yeah I hung my head in shame as I typed that part. HAHA!
I don't live up that way anymore. I live in a smaller town about an hour south of st. louis, these guys down here are a bunch of thieves here too though. LOL! Two new home construction companies had to shut down last year down the street because a bunch of meth addicts from some nearby apartments stole all their tools out of the houses they were working on. They got caught thankfully. My buddy down the street who lays flooring got like 2 grand worth of tools stolen out of his truck that was parked in his detached garage! They stole the rest of his tools not long after out of the truck parked in his driveway. These people here are bold too.

yea that is a ballsy move right there. that's the dudes livelyhood. i know if i ever saw someone steal my tools on a jobsite we're comin' to blows VERY quickly. i'm not a violent person but there's no "talking it out" when it comes to someone stealing the way i earn a living.
