Isnt it sweet when your car gets compliments

Well this happened awhile ago, I was driving and I pulled up to a red light. This guy in a corvette pulls up next to me and asks what I have done to the car and proceeds to say how bad ass it is. Nothing like getting complimented by a vette owner. Then the other day, I'm driving home and as I pull up to a stop sign, there is an older guy in a GT next to me. He starts saying how much he loves my rims and this and that. The same day I'm leaving Best Buy and a guy in a SN95 stops me and says he loves the deep dish in the back and this and that. Then he tells me thats what he is looking to do, except he wants 20s. Then I drove off and laughed, but its nice to hear people compliment the car.

Thanks man. I wish I could be cruising in a Mach though. Those things are bad ass. Those things turn heads stock. You gonna be at the Goodguys show this weekend?

ha ha ha....I think heads turn cause most people are wondering WTF is coming out of the hood. ha ha ha.

I don't have any plans to check out the good guys show, but I have an office on the fairgrounds so when the cars start showing up friday I'll probably be more into it. Are you going?

I get plenty of remarks on my car, its always nice to know people like what you have done with it.

Have you ever found somone getting thier pic with yer car? I saw that happen once when i was leaving homedepot, saw some guy standing next to my car getting his pic snapped.

I think it happened more than once tho, cause one day after i get done detailing my car i drove it to bestbuy, when i came out there was a light bit of dust on the car cause it was so dry out. On the drivers side right above the rear window was a buttprint about the height and size of some girls ass. nobody was parked near me. lol

jack - I've never seen anyone snapping any pics, but that would be cool. I hope it was a hot girls ass that was sitting on your car. I should take my car over to Hooters next time they have some function and get pics of the car with a bunch of Hooters girls all over it. That would be sweet, but it is cool getting the compliments.

jjtgiants - I might cruise by downtown or something on friday night or saturday. not sure yet. I usually get bored with that stuff. Most of the day saturday I'll probably be ripping out and installing my stereo stuff.

i always get people complimenting it and then they ask what year it is cause of the scoops lol

when i was driving to get my dyno tune for my cams last week a family driving in a caddilac were all staring at it lol all 4 ppl in the car were looking, thats what i get the most people dont say anything they just stair until im out of site

im sure ill start gettin questions in the summer tho when they hear the lope at stop lights

00blkst....let me know if you go and maybe I'll cruise over to the show. I really like muscle cars and newer style stangs ect....and sometimes the good guys show doesn't have much of that....plus all of the parts and stuff they sell at the swap meet are for old azz cars.

I get it alot with the unpainted hood i have. Everybody says my stang looks bad azz coming towards them. I think it needs new paint as it looks like crap right now.

I love when i get compliments on my car sometimes at the gas station some people come up and say "nice stang" if the windows are down they'll look inside to see if its stick or not lol, also on the highway people will look over and give me thumbs up and say they love how loud it is..

Oh hell yea it's awesome when you get someone telling you your car is bad ass.I think I get at least one compliment a day if I'm out and about doing errands or cruising.I had another guy in a Cobra follow me home the other day and ask me what all I had done to mine and how much he liked it.

What I like is watching people look as you drive by and just give them a little smile and a wave

if anything i get stares. i hardly ever get compliments. Plus its a V6 and doesnt have to much done to it, but that will change soon enough

I have had a few people tell me that they really like my paint after i get done detailing it.. a few people go "damn thats a v6? it sounds really good" but yea..a few of the little ricers are like "BURN THEM" and i'm like "you mean burn it right? i only got one spinning" lol...

Heck, I even get compliments on my 87. Granted, i keep it clean and I think it looks pretty good w/the fat-skinnies. First compliment I ever got i was quite shocked.

Thats because your car is looking pretty badass. It's a very clean 87. It's just cool when other people notice your car and either say something or give you a thumbs up. For me it kinda justifies the money I put into the car.
