Do you ever hate your friends ???

A good friend of mine has an 03 Cobra, which automatically makes me jealous. The first year he owned it the car recieved: KB, Kooks headers, full 3" exhaust, 315 Nitto's on extra Cobra rims, Bogarts with MT frontrunners and ET streets, Fluydine heat exchanger, Vortech coolant tank and battery relocation kit.
Next year, D&D tubular front supension and coilovers, 9in rear end with 3.90's and a NOS wet nitrous kit. He let a friend drive it, friend misses third gear and pops the motor.
Then since his cars broke, he buys an 04 Lightning to drive everyday. Lightning is soon equipped with Kooks long tubes, full Bassani exhaust, JDM stage1 etc...
Cobra recieves a DSS 5.0 stroker with ported heads, cams and valve spring upgrade. Also purchases Amazon Racing sheetmetal intake for the KB. This ended last year and the car has sat til this spring. Now he has it sitting at Pauls High Performance in Michigan recieving a auto trans, fuel system and dyno tune.
Since his Lightning is guzzling gas to the tune of $350 a month, he needs to trade it for something more economical... a 02 GT. GT already comes with Cams, Chip, Plenum,Power Pipe, headers and lowering springs. Stops buy tonight and its wearing 03 Cobra rims (not his, he bought another set) with fresh Nitto's, 3.90 gears and a NX nitrous kit. Soon it will recieve his Cobras 6 speed.
To say Im jealous is a gross understatement...lol I know he checks out some of these sites so Jason if you see this dont think Im talking *****, Im just frustrated trying to figure out where I'll get the money to buy 2 rear tires !!! I thought I had it bad. I love my car and have owned many modified Mustangs, but I never gone this far !!! Good luck man !!

Envy would probably be the right word for someone like this. Only Because I have no rich friends, and if anyone I was friends with spent money like that on vehicles, then I would not be jealous. New bankruptcy laws are coming soon. And if ya have to file for bankruptcy.... You Have Failed,:evil5: IMHO...........

Dont be jealous, its great that he can do all at but at what price. Does he have any money saved. It also depends if he is married or still living with parents as when you are young you dont save money. What I find odd is worring about gas, hp costs money in gas. If you have to worry about gas then I dont think you have that much to spend. Weathly people dont worry about the price of gas as if they did they will not buy these big and heavy luxury cars. I think your friend is a hard worker and wants to enjoy the money he works hard for or is trying to impress his friends since they have created an image of him.
