Default woot woot - im an emt-b
Got my good news in the mail today. I was told the bad news is a small envelope, and the good news is a big one. I came home and opened the front screen door and the big envelope fell out!

For those of you that dont know, I just graduated with my associates in Fire Science and now im EMT-B certified as well. Im going to apply for a Collier County Firefighter/EMT which is the Naples, FL area and hopefully start my career down there. I have one entire side of my family down there and thats where I got back from last week from vacation. Its paradise down there.

The class was deffinetly hard as hell and it was 140 hours. Im glad its over and I passed everything my first time around. I know a lot of people fail the national registry written part and I was always told you should expect 10 points lower than the tests you take in class but I didnt think it was all that hard. Of course it was one of those tests that you have 4 answers. One is totally off, one is kinda right, and the last two are right and you have to decide which is the best answer.

I have alot of respect for firefighters...

they risk their necks and are on the job sometimes 24-7 and go unnoticed

congrats and good luck getting the job down here... nothing against you but you will need it.

its kinda weird, you're wanting to move into florida and i want to move out.

naples is like old people ville, its a retirement place. Well if you move to naples you can always do road trips to miami.

All my family is on marco island and west naples.

Lvng on that salary wont be a problem. My living situation is basically set up for me already.
