nice camera, Geez that thing is the heat. You gonna get a book the size of war and peace for a manual. LOL. I found the one my wife bought last year for around 500 bucks. we got some extra memory chips also. very nice to have at least one extra.

hey, a deal is a deal. i can't let this one slide through my hands especially since I'm only going to be paying for $200 of it. I originally wanted the new Rebel but my manager used to work at Ritz and she says Nikon's are actually the best and I was getting a hell of a deal.

Six, one, half a dozen. If you saw the pics taken with the Nikon, youd be impressed with those too. Its not all about the camera, it has a LOT to do with who is USING the camera. Either one will take magnificent pics.

she's an idiot, there is no best. it's all personal preference as to where you like the buttons and so on and what features you would trade off.

I completely agree. I love my canon dslr because I'm used to it and it takes awesome quality pics, but I would never talk down something like a nikon. they are both very comparable cameras and very capable performers.

my favorite camera is my $20 holga.
takes my favorite pictures
digital on the other hand..
the camera can really make things look goofy

Although your thread was a link to Honda stuff I spent a good half hour just looking at the pics. It is an art to taking great pics, even w/a good digital.

Wife has the Canon EOS Rebel 6.1mp digital and I love it! Good Luck.
