Default v6 to v8 swap

What is all involved, I have all parts since I have my wrecked gt but am I going to have to rewire the entire car and stuff like that?

Honestly, it's a lot easier and usually cheaper to just sell the v6 and buy a v8, but I guess if you have the wrecked v8 you already have the parts so it might be one of those rare cases where it's worthwhile to do.

Since you already have both cars just swap the entire drive train from the GT over to the 6er. Shouldn't be bad but will take a lot of time if you plan on doing it yourself.

its def cheaper to buy the v6, I have my gt with diff mods done to it and only 40,000 miles on all parts. Plus my friend owns a body shop so I have everything necessary to do the swap. I figure buy a beat up v6 for a few grand, have my friend paint it, swap everything over and have a grand or 2 for new parts.

Did you not have insurance on the car or something?

No i had full insurance on the car, they totalled it out and I bought it back from the insurance company for $1200. It had a bunch of stuff done to it plus I still have $8000 from the insurance check after buying my wrecked gt back. So im trying to buy a v6 around $4000, have it painted by my friend, swap everything over, and still have a few grand for new parts for the car.
