Default fuel pump.

so i havent been around the boards lately but now i have a problem.

so the mustang has been acting up. it leaves me sitting from time to time. it did it once over the summer and twice in the last month. my shop guy is sure that it is the fuel pump.

so what are my options for this. like a replacement stock one or an after market one. im looking around for some info now. what do u guys think about my situation? and what are some good web sights that will have what im looking for. thanks guys,
tristan. (by the way 98 v6)

What exactly do you mean when you say it "leaves [you] sitting from time to time"? Does it stall? Or just not go? RPMs drop and doesn't go? What?

oh sorry. it drives normally parks normally i go into the destination. and when i go to leave it cranks but sputters and dies out. i wait 20mins and it starts up normally and i drive away. i get home turn off the car turn it on to test it out. and it sputters and dies out.

so it never does it when im driving only after its off and turned on again.

Hmm...I guess it could be your fuel pump. Doesn't make sense why it would work one minute and not the next. You might have your mechanic buddy drop your tank, pull the pump and text it to see if it's working right. It sounds like something else, but I can't think of what yet.
