So i think i want an older cobra because they are nicer for insurance. But all the ones i find that i like have a ton of miles of them, now i was thinking that if they have alot of miles that i should buy a short block of it off DSS so i could have a strong engine that i could shoot NO2 through. Or would it be better to find one with low miles? What are the pros and cons of buying an older car and replacing the block as opposed to just getting one with less miles?

I'd put a new engine in it regardless of how many miles it has. Older motors were made for leaded gas and straight 30 weight oil and 8mpg. Also pull the tranny apart and replace bearings and fluids in the back end.

ahhh... then yeah. At least freshen it. I'd slap the built block in it so you can flog it hard later if you want. You should only have to buy a shortblock once if you can help it.
