|
ok so i had a friend in my car tongiht, and he didn't belive my mustang could burn out. so i brought it out, burned the tires, yeah they smoked, but it wouldn't go over 2.5k rpms, and it didn't even rev past 3k when i had the post burn out. my question is that normal for an auto?? i had o/d on would that couse that?

did you have it in D(rive) or did you have it in 1(irst)? What about traction control?

i had it in drive, and i have a 97 so i don't have tc

it prolly shifted into second and you dont have enough power to get up in the rpms. If it didnt go into third. Put it in 1st next time and see if it does the same.

Sounds to me like your car was struggling.....you need more power..
