Ne one have any idea if you can do a brake stand on my V6...I know i can get the wheels spinning but since i have 4 wheel disc breaks when i hit the parking break it breaks the rear wheels also...

ur front brakes clamp harder than your rears. Don't pull the parking break. Adjust the pressure you apply to the brakes and adjust the gas accordingly. When your done put a dollar in your new tire fund.

put some Clorox Bleach on the road where you are going to do the burnout, that should help get it started. Just don't pour it all over your wheels!!

Used to do this in my sisters V6 but I suggest getting a limited slip diff. if I were you. Those wider tires in the rear dont help either so I would say.......roll into a water patch and then hit the brake and give it hell.

Why would you hit the parking brake, as that ONLY applies to the rear brakes.

aww grimmz...thought you would know better...parking brake?

yea i do multiple burnouts! i just push down the brake and hit the gas...easy enough

lets see if i can host the vid of mine doin one...but then again mines on stock tires that have almost 20k miles on them.

and yea its also hard to do a donut!! ahh because one stupid wheel spins and the other holds grip...hmm i see gears and a tlock in my future...

dont use the parking brake like they said thats is applying pressure against only the back rotors and you can do a burnout with disc all around i dont know why you belive you cant.

Just hold the gas,and brake let off more and more of ht ebrake till it starts spinning them.

my tires are .5 inches bigger, and they still have no problem doing burnouts, although i don't plan on doing them because i would like my tires to last unlike someone on this forum...springs:shifty: ...

Never had a problem getting them loose in my 95' V6(245 all the way around), if you wanna talk sick burnouts ask stang00 for some pics X_X (205's stockers)
the new 03 GT spins them anytime i feel like it, lol
(and yes having a posi rear end is a plus, makes it look not-so-gay, although there were many times when the open diff's in mine and stang00's sixers got both wheels burning!

I just though i would throw this out there... Front-wheel drive cars doing burnouts = hilariousely lame... or peelouts for that matter.

Why would you put your parking brake on when doing a burnout? Haha, are you a riceboy with fwd? lol, i swear some of you people around here have ZERO common sense.

Why has nobody mention SLP's Brake control package. I'm sure with little work it'll take to the V6 as easy as the V8...
