Default XCal Q:

when ordering an x-cal 2 is the computer code of your car important when the tuner is going to be used at a shop for a custom tune? my stock computer took the plunge and had to be replaced and im not sure what the code is for the new one.

if you are taking it to a tuner that uses the xcal, then you dont need to give SCT your computer code...they should just need to know the year of your car. the shop that tunes your car should be able to get your computer code...really if the tune shop is using xcals to tune, I'd hope they'd be an xcal dealer and you could just get your xcal from them.
