What is the best way to tell if you have a motor mount loose.

rev and watch. if it moves a lot then you've got your answer. stock mounts don't allow for very excessive movements.

another way is to set the ebrake, stick it in first and slowly try to move the car forward by feathering the clutch. look how far the motor bucks... it shouldn't be much at all.

I have an automatic. I just curious if this could be the problem for the shakin that Im feeling. I feel it most when my car hits over drive. My shop cant find anything wrong with the suspension.
