Vent Visors
anyone try to put Vent Visors on a Mustang...99-04? I got the set from Lund and they are about 3 inches too long...theres no way they would fit...they are the tape on type. blatant poor fitment issue...I cant believe they say they fit our cars.

They might fit a 94-98 i dunno...but hell it just pisses me off when a co. says there product works for a specific application and then it doesnt even come close. Like they didnt even test it... I checked with Lund and the part number is "correct" for my application. those idiots.

wait...since the demise of the Fox body's, Mustangs have frame-less windows...
wouldn't you have to roll down the windows to open the doors if you put Vent Visors on? (and more importantly how would you roll up the windows after you got out of the car?)
they only work right if the window frame (where that are attached) opens and closes with the door

have those on the family van but never would think to put on a mustang.... someone makes a good point about closing and opening doors, how would you do that cause every visor ive seen hangs about and inch over the window

They are alot smaller than normal visors, that's why they don't look bad. They don't hang over the windows just low enough for clearance, and to prevent water from coming through the window when it's cracked.

but the "A" pillar doesn't open with the door, so that means the Vent Visor can't extend below the top edge of the window if you want to be able to open or close the doors...
