Hey all,
I'm not sure if this should be in the "Lounge" or "General Tech" and if "General Tech" if it should be in the "Official Gear Thread", so I'm just going with "General Tech". Anyways, I wanted to see what you all know, or think, about having 4.10 gears along with a short-throw shifter installed on a daily-driver. Is that combo just begging for a sore left knee and "tennis-elbow\shoulder" or would the short-throw really not have any bearing on that?

I have both of those and i have yet to regret it yet. The 4.10's are not as bad as you think. The short throw shifter just makes it easier for you to drive in my opinion.

Those were my first and second mods when my car was new. YOU WILL LOVE THEM!!!
Do NOT chicken out and go for 3.73's and tell us how great they are. 4.10's are the way to go....PERIOD!! DFTG!! (don't fear the gear) |

No, I am definitely not fearing the gear. The 4.10's are going in, but I was thinking about having a short-throw put in at the same time, kind of an "extra", but wasn't sure how the two of them being together would affect daily drivability, if at all.
