I bought my mustang used from a guy who said he didnt put anything into the car other then a set of springs. With my car going 60 in 5th gear im at 2,000 rpm and when i put that info plus my tire dimensions and 98 gt tranny into a online gear calculator it says i have 4.10 gears. Can anyone with 4.10 gears and 17inch rims let me know if 60 miles per hour at 2k rpm sounds right?

Easy way to check: Jakc up the rear, put a mark on the drive shaft, turn your wheel one full rotation, and count how many times the driveshaft turns (you use the mark as a reference point). That will tell you your ratio right there. Make sure the car is in neutral too.
