SLp will me loud and raspy. Mac will not be as loud and will sound nice and deep.

I have had both. Mac is better sounding to me.

If you want really loud and annoying go for SLP LM1's....if you add a O/R pipe you better invest in some ear plugs as well! ha ha ha....if you live in a area where cops enforce exhaust noise levels, don't get LM1's....they are not legal in a lot of states...the DB level too high

like everyone said if you want loud and annoying buy slp if you want good sounding and deep rumble look into spintech i have heard good things about them. or consider getting the pypes set up it is inexpensive.

I have had the slp and it was to loud with a o/r x-pipe, I have also had mac and that was to quiet, and had magnaflow way to quiet so i put flows in place of the slp resonators and it sounds what i wanted it to sound like.

sorry so long just my $.02 and experiences

I have a full SLP setup with LM2s though. Personally i like the sound...I've received compliments from other mustang owners as well. The LM1s are very raspy and loud. The 2s are more toned with less raspiness. My next setup will probably be different though, just to try something new.

LM I's are WAY too raspy IMO. A while ago someone posted a picture comparing the internals of LM I and II and their proflow (i think thats the other muffler type?) and it pretty much summed up why they sound the way they do. It pretty much looked like a straight pipe with NO baffling, which would be why LM I's get the "popping" effect. I'm putting LM II's on my car this Saturday so i'll let you know how i like 'em.

I have slps LM1 with catted X, I would not get this setup if you use it everyday look at my vid https://mustangboards.com/mustang/pi...500/ppuser/102
In the vid you can hear me 3 blocks away at the stop sign so its loud and on the inside its not any better.

Do you have a sound clip for this? or why do you say to go with BBK and then SLP LM2's? can you describe the sound on that setup? I am also looking at getting SLP.... so i was wondering.

I have my LM II's on and I love them. They have a great, low, deep growl.
