Default STOCK subframes?

Hey guys - should I bother to weld in ym stock subframes??? - will that help - or will only the aftermarket ones improve my ride? - Also if you have or have had them i would like some feedback on how they made the car feel to you - thanks.

the stock ones only came on verts I think, and I hear they dont do much.
I don't remember if my 03 GT ver had them, but I know my mach does and I can tell you they don't really do jack! You need full length weld in MM or Steeda's. I haven't ditched my stock SF connectors yet, but I'm planning to

I believe they are absolutely critical to the integrity of your car. I waited till I had 3,000 miles before I finally had them welded on and now I wish I did the first day. The car is now extremely solid without all the body twist that took place before. I have MM with the torque boxs reenforced.

bolting on sub-frame connectors is kinda like sleeping with your sister... sure it's a nice bit of tail with a blouse full of goodies but it's just wrong.

Seriously though, the stock bolt-on jobs are crap pure and simple, they lack width and wall thickness to the point that they're damn near cosmetic. Weld in a set from MM, Griggs, Steeda, etc... and you'll really notice a difference. No bolt-in connector is worth its weight in urine so welding new ones is your only hope of having a real benefit come from then being on your car at all.

Check with my boys at Apex (408-588-0075) and see if they still have their phat deal going. At one point they were <100 bucks for Griggs connectors. Griggs is TOP shelf, right up there with Maximum Motorsports.
