first time at the track last night

had a great time and loved seeing all the cars run..

as for my runs.. well best i had was a 14.14 @ 101 miles per hour..kinda disapionted because i have 4.10s xpipe no cats kandN drop in 75mm t/b and plenum and 315 sumitomos which i thought would help get me in the 13.xxs...

it was fun tho did 9 runs and started from a 14.6 and went down to a 14.14..im deff going next time with drag radials a diablo tune and maybe headers... i wanna go nitrous but i wanna atleast hit mid to low 13.xxs with out nos.

what track were you at? almost all of the tracks down here suck ass at prepping the track. if you want good times go over to bradenton. i know its a long drive for you but if you want mid 13's thats the place you'll get it. moroso is one of the worst. i was there a week ago and there was like an oil slick half way down the track 10 cars in a row went down the track and all had to hit their brakes and stop their run because they had no traction. they didnt fix it until a mercedes hit the wall.

ouch poor benz...but yea all the big guns were letting off just about half down the track... and iv herd alot of bad things about this track but its the closest.. im ordering the diablo predator and some d/rs for next time... maybe some flowtech headers.

What was your 60'? i am gonna guess that is holding you back. you got the miles per hour for low 13's just need ot get it ot the ground.

2.27 for that run actually that was my best...

my friends gt would get 2.1s but id catch him up towards the end ..

o also the fruit sparying water would spray all over the place so i always had to drive over the water with front and rear tires...my best run was with a really good burnout because i thought it would dry up my tires...(315 sumitomos with 20 psi)

you should go to the track more. it took me about 5 trips to the track to get my times to a 13.5 with the stock setup which is less mods then what you have now. practice. my roommates bullitt with pullies K&N and cat back runs a 13.7 at 104. he launches at 2500 too.

Wow I dont see how you CANT be in the mid 13s with that setup. I was running 13.5 with 3.90s. Hell I was running 13.9 BEFORE gears and thats on street tires and street PSI.

You cant be that high in sea level being in florida in Miami. Ill be in Naples next month. hand me your keys and ill have your car in the 13s.

Congrats on your first trip to the track. You have plenty of trap speeed to run your low 13. Just work on the traction issue and you'll be fine. A 2.27 60 foot sucks, no insult intended. You drop it to a 1.95 and you will cut .6 -.7 off your e.t.. Get some sticky tires and you'll cut another couple of tenths easy.

madmatt i ditched the idea to buy my friends vortech then ditched that idea for no good reason...

and blue gt im not going back till i get some drag radials and a tune ..hopefully thatll help

The time isn't that bad, it's really hard to get it down the way you want. When you find the way, you'll "tear it up."

and yes im ready sortof for march 8th...got my raptor shift light and diablo predator tune...and iv been practicing
