After searching through 5 states I found my baby! I had a hard time finding a dealer that would sell at MSRP but I did. Red 05 GT 5 speed with the nice rims, this is my 4th mustang (94 GT 95 GT conv 97 GT) and I must say that it is the best so far, it looks like a mustang runs like a mustang and SOUNDS like a mustang.
I am very impressed with the acceleration of the car hit the gas an hold on, my brother just got an STI 3 days ago and I believe it would be real close. I live in Virginia but my business is in a very rural part of west Virginia so the looks that this car gets here is amazing people break there neck to look at it, and that’s cool!!!! And the thing that really got me was, I had seen a bunch of v6's on the lots and a few on the road but I had never seen a gt and I thought that they looked just about the same in the pics but in person there is a HUGE difference one look at this car and you know it’s a GT, all in all I am a VERY happy man this morning, found this board looking for performance upgrades for it and I think I have found a new E Home!!! |

Did you see the recent MM&FF? 12.4 with a 2005 with a few bolt-ons. These cars have potential.

I read that article and have seen other dyno tests at modualr depot and there is definately more horsepower to be found. The costs could actually be cheaper than the magazine printed also by eliminating the magnaflow exhaust (zero horsepower gain, sounds nicer but doesnt help performance) and by possibly eliminating the shocks and struts and tires (unless you strictly want to drag race)
