Default 4.10's launch

How the hell am I going to be able to launch my 2001 automatic for 4.10's in the rear. Seriously other than deflating my rear tires a little but I dont think i'm going to rev up with the brake on without the tires spinning? Anyone with this same issue?

First off you should be launching at idle, dont push down on the brake and rev it up. You wont be able to floor it off the line with the gears, so get some dr's and youll be set.

Drag radials aren't gonna be coming right away so next best plan of of action on street tires?

Cross your fingers and pray? I dunno man, theres not really a secret, just be careful running around with low air pressure, your tires will wear funny, and its not worth it to "hook up" Just keep saving for the dr's.

i have an auto with 4.10s and to launch i go from idle and get the pedal about 3/4 of the way down to take off and still hook up fairly well and press down to wide open at the 1-2 shift

you shouldnt be airing down street tires much at all. just enough so that all the rubber is contacting with the pavement. otherwise they will cup in the middle and you will have a harder tire hooking. just go pratice and see what your car likes. more than likly your gonna have to roll into the throttle with 4.10 gears. my f150 (which is an assload heavyer) with 4.10's and 3k stall would smoke them from a dead stop just had to learn how to roll into it and keep the tire spin to a min. Just go pratice around with it.

hes right, rolling into it will keep you from smoking up your tires like you probably would from a stop, practice is key.

My 03 auto with 4.10 gear will leave the line with very little tire spin as long as I don't mat it. Just use a little finese with the throttle and it come out of the hole just fine. Don't power break it, or it burn up thru 1st gear every time.
