Well nice job, you made my wife cry. But in a good way.

it has definatly been hard. She has stopped working again untill we get this figured out, unfortunatly childrens hospital recently moved to a new facility that is about 12 miles further away. All in all between her dropping her kid off at the grandparents, my going to work, the constant trips to the hospital we are averaging about 750-1000 miles per week total. Without all the hosp trips and such we would normally be putting up a combine 300 miles per week. at 3 bucks a gallon, and 25mpg, we are dumping close to 400+ a month into gas alone.

Add in the rest of the bills and other baby expences, the increased cost in medical insurance, and what not, we are barely keeping our heads above water.

We have another appointment with him tomorrow, this will probably be going on for a while. we have pretty much resigned ourselves to the fact were gonna be broke as hell untill this is over, but that really isnt our main concern. The boy seems so happy and healthy its really hard to fathom something like this is going wrong. We finally felt that things were gonna be ok after he was in full recovery of the first surgery, now they have to redo the entire thing.

We just hope everything on the 2nd goes as well as on the first. We have no idea when the surgery will be, we hope to learn tomorrow when we talk to his cardiologists.

if it goes out past january he will be on my medical plan instead of medicade and this will probably run us up 10-15k in hospital bills. Ill eagerly pay whatever i have to without a second thought though and consider it a good deal.

Anyways, this is really nice of you to put this up, seriously, you have no idea how much Rebecca and i appreciate it. Ive never been good at asking people for anything. The nice thing is with people like you i dont have to.

its funny everyone always says stuff on here like "its only the internet, and dont take the internet seriously" which for the most part is true, but this place is real, this community is real, and all the people here are real. While i have never met a single one of you i consider many of you friends and the support you have all shown me really has been a great help.
