Absolutely!!!!!!! Auto does not affect anything. Actually, I think nitrous is better on an auto in some ways.
Read this thread which has some sood into info in nitrous. Whatever he does, be sure to read up on it a lot. It is safe if you do it right: http://www.mustangtuningforums.com/showthread.php?t=67 Any questions, ask away.

you can do it to a taotaly stock auto stang or stick stang, only thing i would do to an auto would be a shift kit to make sure it wont bang the limiter. other than that your good to go.

Yeah ditto! Also, I think with an auto it may be easier to have the nitrous lock-out of first gear....but just a guess.

when ever i instal nitrous on auto i always just give them a WOT switch and a push botton inside thar on a coil wire so they can activate it when they want, its easyer to setup and gives you much better control this way. basicly you tell it to come in whatever gear you want when you want and when to shut off, but still only works at wot. dont deal.

Hey Spike, I just ran a nitrous line in my GT this afternoon. I stayed away from the exhaust, but at one location, it is about 2" from my stock header. Do you think this is too close?
