I paid 300 total for my installation...that included install, new pinion bearing and gear oil. The 4.10's were like 200 bucks on sale, I didn't get the install kit cause the FRPP gears come with the shim kit. As far as a break-in your supposed to do a few heat cycles which is driving the car till it's warm then letting it cool down, I did this like 5 times then took it easy for about 200 miles just to be safe.
