must of been an RS (Realy Slow) model eclipse, the one from the movie was a AWD gsX turbo with alot of upgrades.....they sold it after the movie on Ebay for $75K. Same with the red Integra for $40k

Good lord...18's..A combination of a HORRIBLE driver and too much weight, because I know the movie has a GS-T eclipse, which runs high 15's stock.

 

ACtually, I heard all the movie cars were Rs's or Gs's. None were fast. That would be pointless when they knew people would still pay the same for a 18 sec car. Every article I remember never had a turbo. God forgive me for ever wanting that car...

The point I was making is that there are, STREET talons and eclipses, that will drive to the track on low boost, but off a ten, and drive back home. Dont make comments like that when you dont know whats out there. (not referring to you Greg) That just makes it sweeter for them when they beat you.

 

Talons and all dsm cars for that matter can be made pretty fast..I have a talon tsi and all stock that thing is still not slow and I can make it very fast if I wanted to but it just aint my style of car and thats why I bought my stang

True you can make them fast as a full on race car and as a street car, I think ive seen them run high 12s with a upgraded turbo, boost controller and some bolt ons....

But timstpetefl does have a point it doesnt look or sound good at all

My buddy who owns his own shop and has 2 show cars said that a couple of his sponsors have said they are gonna have alot of old cars in it and a few new ones, like an '05+ Mustang with a RB26dett skyline motor in it.
