The Fast and the Furious part3
A buddy of mine who is the crew chief for Clutchmaster drag racing team told me today about they are making a part 3 to the movie and Clutchmasters supplied clutches for most of the car they are building......this one caught me off gaurd.....a Mustang is gonna be in it and is supposed to be nasty! BUT it not a normal mustang, they swapped out the ford engine and put a Nisson Skyline r34 GTR motor in it...a v8 swapped to a inline-6 twin turbo. As he was talling me this he also mentioned that if anyone has seen it Drift racing, the Falken tires drift team has an '05 mustang GT.....not a GT engine, they also swapped it and put a nissan SR20det 4cyl turbo engine in! WTF are these people thinking...?

ugh i cant imagine how that would sound.... a stang that sounds like a fricken honda..... it would be better off like the one in fast and furious 2 that gets munched...

I mean seriously, why not just get a GT with a forged engine, run 22lbs of boost to it, nitrous, cams and gears. alone with the standard issue full exhaust.
I't tear those little japanese engines to pieces.
Its an american car. Dont try to make it an import. <grumble>

Yeah the rumor about that is they did it to get back at Ford for not giving them Mustangs for their movie. Apparently the execs at Ford thought it was cute what they were doing in the movie. hence the Corvette taht is slower then the eclipes...are you serious? lol

If any of you have had what a skyline sounds like...sounds nothing like a fartcan honda and far frum the deep rumble of american muscle...they sound like a freakin jet! but like Slappy said, yea build the ford engine on 22lbs of boost and you got something! Sadly i say this but a rb26dett skyline engine on 15lbs of boost pushes 600+ that engine factory in japan is about 900hp, skylines here in the US...what few are have been de-tuned and smaller turbo's put on along w/ 6 or more cats to be legalized, they are a power house.
