Well depends on how stock that Cobra was. I would love to see that off the line though. The thing about those srt's is if they have upgraded turbos, and all that bs, on highway rolls, they can tear up. :bash:

how is it sad? an SRT4 is slower then a DSM (Evo, Eclipse, Talon) or WRX (and STi), and if he put on a bigger turbo flowing a lot more CFM, and did all that fun stuff, Im sure he could beat a cobra, all you hear is the turbo blowing when he hits it ... and you cant say the cobra didnt try, you can hear the stock SC screaming.

I bet its a stock cobra, and he got his *** handed to him by some 20 year olds who upgraded the turbo, injectors, and fuel pump, and are runnin 12s, its not unheard of ...

im not saying i support the cobra losing, im just syaing there are 4bangers out there much faster then many of our cars ...

I have to agree, dont get all fussy cause the stock cobra got beat by the srt. Its a fast car, STOCK, realize that, and realize that when you upgrade the turbo and do the supporting mods, they can get quite scary and *gasp* possibly beat a Cobra. Cobras are great, but remember, there is always someone faster. Nice vid. Id love to have a skittle to just play around with.

 

I hate when they post bogus stuff like that and the NEON girls label it as a victory. I only have a stock GT and havent had any problems with those children. Even if their car was faster than mine, they only know how to drive skateboards and not cars yet......dumb kids.

I know many a skittle that will hand some mustangs their asses, so be careful with some of them. Im just glad that guy removed his spoiler.

 

news flash .. neons arnt fast... even the stage 3 arent that fast... i would say that mustang didnt do all it could for shure but maybe that neon was still faster...but also the stock cobra isnt exaclty dynamite either - procharge your GT and smoke all their asses!

 

i guarantee an SRT4, after raising its boost with a boost controller would beat a stock 99-04 GT. Stock vs stock the GT barely beats it. If you think all mustangs are faster then SRT4s, then you dont know crap about turbo-4's. There are plenty of DSMs out there runnin in the low to mid 12s with stock turbos and crap. Dont tell me its bogus stuff, and that they are kids ... there are plenty of adults who chose evo's, STi's, and SRT4's over cobras, and ESPECIALLY stock gts... Believe me i love my v8, and dont want to admit we can lose, but it happens all the time these days, technology is catchin up...
now, if u had a v8 runnin 8.5:1 compression with a turbo, then a race with an SRT4 would be a laughable waste of gas
