Dude, why would you take the sweetest gauges ever put in a Mustang, and put those white GT gauge faces over them? The factory Bullitt retro style gauges are sooooooo much nicer looking.

That's like adding a wing to the Bullitt, it's just wrong.

Well, I agree... they are better looking, but in all honesty, i'm about blind as a bat, and they're just too hard for me to read. Even with my glasses or contacts. So that's the reason i put the white face gauges in. Kinda lame, but still the truth. When we gonna see some videos of that beast of Bullitt you own?

 

LOL thanks Wom. The gauges are still there, the white faces are EL glow overlays. I really wish i wasn't damn blind or i woulda never bought n put them in. I just went out n tried to take a better vid a few minutes ago, but to no avail. It's just too damn hard to hold a camera steady and drive. I'll get a good one up either sometime this week, or this weekend for sure.

 

I'll try to get a video in the next couple days. I do have a teenage son I can recruit to hold the camera.........lol

My cousin was actually over here, and he volunteered to hold the camera for me, although he couldn't hold it very still, here's a quick vid in the dark. 0-100mph on cold tires FTL. No traction whatsoever, so I tried to take it easy out of the hole. Still spun the crap out of it.

 

I want ur car, mine sucks compared to yours. I feel like i should tuck my tail and go hide under the bed after seeing that.

 

You should see it when it's not freezing outside, and the tires are warm........lol

 

Yours isn't bad at all, you have to remember, the 4.10's keep me in the power range a lot more than the stock 3.27's. It's all about gears and tuning.

 

Yeah i'm debating on buying a mach 1000 system from one of the members here, or hold off and just put that money towards getting my 4.10's installed.

 

You essentially have the same car as him minus the gears. Don't see what the problem is.

 

you should look into getting camera suction cup mounting, and mount it to the back glass. Would make things much easier for you!
