I have driven myself onto lifts with tighter contingencies then that with attendants that knew what they were doing (and who knew me).

 

Yeah agreed, Where I worked the customers werent allowed to drive into the bay only employees for that exact reason

 

Most of those pits have sliding steel rails that cover it until the car is in place to prevent such things from occurring. At least the ones i've seen around here. That's just crazy retarded, the driver should have their license revoked. =)
