Default The v6 is getting a cam

I ordered my cam from RPM last week, it should be here soon. I went with a street cam setup for my nitrous adventures. I also ordered a set of conical valve springs to accompany the cam.

Specs:
212/224 .531/.519 112LCA

This is going to be fun.

Would that be a good spec for a NA stang also? I am not good on the specs of cams.

Nah this cam is speced for a supercharger/nitrous application.

Common camshafts-
207/207 .505/.505" 110LCA-- budget cam swap with a good flowing exhaust
207/209 .493/.491" 110LCA-- budget cam swap with moderate flowing exhaust
207/215 .505/.495" 110/2LCA-- budget cam swap with restrictive exhaust
216/224 .507/.519" 112LCA- aggressive 4.2L cam with heads, intakes, etc
215/225 .495/.491" 112LCA- mild singleport 3.8L poweradder cam
220/225 .538/.521" 110LCA- aggressive singleport 3.8L cam
224/228 .519/.514" 110LCA - aggressive singleport 4.2L cam

How much did you pay for that?. I have plans on switching to split port and then doing h/c/i work to boost me up to a number around 300 :clap:

I got a similar idea but was thinkin of lettin supersix do alota it...I wana up the displacement to 4.3L and I'd LOVE to have a N/A V6 with 300 rwhp...then maybe nitrious or s/c later...

Other then the cam what else are you running now to be running 13's?

He just ordered the cam the 13 is from before hand.

he has 4.10's,t-lock,no cats,true duals,cheap cai,100shot,transgo shift kit,sct tune

he would of gone faster but his convertor is dieing and so its killing his power he can bearly peel out as it sits.

NA/Supercharger cam? they are two different things.... ive always noticed that nitrous loves strong NA applications

ahhh thats with the 100 shot...i didn't think our engines could take any more then 75 shot stock?...

No they can handle a 100hp shot. most people are afraid too. its like the GT mustangs they can handle more than a 100shot but most people are scared to go any higher.

yea they can handle it. You would be suprised what are weak :sleeping: 3.8's can do.
